Dear Dr. Phillips,

I truly believe that coming to see you has changed my life. Before becoming your patient I had seen at least NINE other doctors including, family physicians, GI doctors, and infectious disease specialists. No one could help me- and more importantly no one else truly cared about finding the CAUSE of my misery. I had every sort of invasive test known to man from blood work to a colonoscopy- and I am only 23! When everything came up empty you kept trying and tapped into every resource available. I will never forget the feeling of finally knowing what was causing my symptoms nor the helplessness I felt when others turned me away while I was nearly starving to death.

In the height of my illness I lost 45 pounds- including 14 pounds in 14 days. At one point I had gone five days without eating anything but Gatorade. Eating made me sick. Doctors told me I had IBS, depression and needed Prozac. They told me to wean my baby and see a therapist. But you refused to believe these things.

Through your diligence we finally have the answers we need to treat the problem not the symptoms.

Recently, when I awoke with a raging UTI, I was frustrated because I didn't want to take antibiotics again. I had experienced UTI's about six times a year before my children were born and have taken about fifty courses of antibiotics- or more- in my lifetime. Remembering that I had your UTI tea, I brewed a cup and hoped for the best. I drank the tea and an hour later I felt FINE! I cannot explain to you my joy in realizing that nature holds the key to so many illnesses. But I am also so angry that I had been taking antibiotics like candy for years and years. All along the answer was growing wild.

Thank you again for your persistence, patience, and knowledge. My children have their mommy back and we will be forever indebted to you.

Dr. Jen,

Since my first appoinment with you:
-B/P has gone from being high to 128/80.
-Menstrual cycles have gone from being absent for three months to every 28 days.
-Irregular bleeding between periods has STOPPED.
-Libido has gone from almost nonexistent to extremely healthy.
-I had problems with urinary incontinence, urgency, and frequent urination. This problem has improved tremendously.
-My skin has changed from dry and flaky to soft and supple.
-I've had chronic severe hives since 1999, and they have significantly lessened in severity.
-I am finally off Zyrtec and only have to take a CVS OTC every few days, if that.
-My energy has improved significantly.
-Depression has lifted.
-These changes are also reflected in my physical appearance - for the better.
